Please pick no more than four options. The criteria is however you define it, whether they're the most iconic, important, fun to read, more admirable a character, whatever. Please explain your choices and criteria if you are able. Alfred...let's just take it for granted that he is everybody's favourite
(With Catwoman, please vote for her only as an ally. If you like her as a villain or anti-hero or whatever, fine, but please consider that distinct from her role in the bat-family otherwise I'm guessing it might skew the poll)
Part Two, name the villain or DCU character you would like to see operating as part of the family. For me right now it's Black Orchid.
Part Three, make one major change to any one batfamily to alter them for the better. Kathy Kane, she obviously needs to be an Amazonian trained warrior. And no the change cannot include killing the character. If you don't like Jason Todd then be creative and think of another way to fix him.

1. My picks: Dick Grayson, Barbara Gordon, Selina Kyle, Helena Bertinelli.
2. Who I'd like to see join the family: I know I'm supposed to only name oen character but personally the two I'm about to main feel like they just have to go hand in hand.
I would really love to see The Question (Renee Montoya) and Batwoman (Kathy Kane) become frequent, active members of the Bat family. I really think they could both end up being really interesting character's to read about on a regular basis in the Bat comics.
3. I'd really like to see Damian Wayne improved. Specifically, I find his entire origin to be rather hackneyed and ridiculous at the moment. I think he would be a far more interesting character if he was extremely distanced from Bruce and was steadfastly allied with Ra's Al Ghuls vision of a 'better world.'
No 'Damian is the future Batman', no Damian as a would-be robin, nothing that would make him Batman's ally. As this character is now I find him to be nothing but an annoyance. I'd be far more interested in him if he were actually bred from the genetic material of Bruce and Talia, by Ra's, with the soul intention of being Batman's down fall and Ra's Al Ghul's successor.
He would be a genetic clone of Batman, with Talia having been used as the host body for the pregnancy. And here's the main twist... I don't want anything retconned before now. I think they should keep all the bonding moments and all that where he and Damian start to seem like they could actually mesh and Damian seems like he might be able to be trained and brought into the Bat-Family; time passes, he gets older, Batman deems his ready...
THEN, I'd want the big reveal. Damian's brought into the fold and everything goes to hell, he begins systematically bringing Batman and his allies down from the inside. Have him even target the Justice League in case they try to interfere. I want a big classic Al Ghul moment of showing he's not just one step, but five steps ahead of Batman and his allies.
At the peak of the story it would be revealed that everything till then had been a ruse. He had no interest in following in Batman's footsteps, and cares nothing about what Talia thinks or believes; his only interest is serving the "Higher Purpose" that Ra's Al Ghul laid out for him. He would be Batman's new Professor Moriartie; a veritable Dr. Doom of the DCU, his reach always going farther than any hero expects, and his plans always furthered even when his initial goals aren't achieved.

I'm the only one the liked Jean Paul Valley!? At least I'm not the one liking Ben Reilly...
My votes were: Jason Tod, Dick Grayson, Jean Paul Valley, Selina Kyle, Barbara Gordon.
One to join: One more vote for the question.
Change: Bring back Jean Paul, with the original costume, and let him a little away from thew bat books.
