I've buying a lot of books from the late '80s to the early '90s and this would include FemForce. This series lasted for a long time so I'm guessing it must have been a fairly good read. Does anyone recommend this series and its spin offs?

It more just fun than really anything deep. Attractive women kicking butt pretty much. There is some interesting histories to the characters also that is pretty complicated though interesting.

... Attractive women kicking butt pretty much. ...

Sounds like the making of a classic to me. :)

I haven't read it in years, but the issues of Femforce I've seen have been pretty fun. It's mostly cute and nostalgic, though occasionally they try to do a more "serious" story. Some of the artwork is quite nice (esp. the stuff by Mark Heike and Brad Gorby) You have to give props to Bill Black, he's kept it going for years and years, and it's obviously a total labor of love.

It's funny... when Femforce started, it was considered somewhat risque because of the heavy emphasis on cheesecake. But now, the mainstream publishers have caught up and even surpassed Femforce in that regard, and Black's gals look positively quaint and wholesome by comparison.

I would love to see Ross do some covers for FF or other classic characters that Black works with.
