What the title says. Are there any arcs or single issues where they team-up? Or maybe within JLA issues, has Batman ever traveled to Atlantis or gone adventuring under the sea? I really want to read something like that. If not what are some cool Aquaman stories, darker or more 'batman like' ones. I won't ask this in the DC forum because I only care about the opinions of batfans. I've read Time and Tide and a few issues surrounding the one where he got his hand chewed off. I use to like the Jae Lee run on early 90's 'Savage' Namor. like that.

Batman: Gotham Knights #18 is a good Batman/Aquaman issue. Batman is feeling lonely, so he calls Aquaman to help him get the Batcave's giant penny out of an underwater crevice (which it had fallen into during the Gotham earthquake).

That issue was a comedy issue. It answers essentially what happened what batman gets bored.

when one version of the JLA was being put together Superman, Aquaman and Batman met at the Kent Farm. Batman hid in the pantry so as to not scare Ma Kent.

Superman says it is not like Batman to be late and Aquaman say he is here he forgot I can see in the darkest depth of the ocean and can see him. Batman steps out of the shadow and say yeah that is likely I forgot, I was just trying not to startle Mrs. Kent.

Now that was comedy.

That's from JLA Secret Files & Origins #2, and was traded in JLA Volume 4: Strength in Numbers

yeah i checked this out. funny. thanks.

does anyone know of any standout Aquaman in JLA trades? otherwise I'm guessing i should just order Tower of Babel since that's gonna a bit of batman at least. then after that Strength in Numbers, that scene sounds like the book shoud be good ha ha

Here are a few others I can think of:

1. Legends of the DC Universe #'s 26 and 27 had a story set in the early years of Aquaman's career as a superhero. He meets the Joker, who convinces Aquaman that Batman is responsible for the rash of Jokerized fish that Aquaman has encountered.

2. Aquaman (vol. 4) #8 from 1992 featured a land-based battle in which Aquaman weathers an assassination attempt from the NKVDemon, an agent trained by one of Batman's old foes, the KGBeast.

3. Batman #579-581 didn't feature Aquaman, but they did introduce Orca, a villain who was later killed in James Robinson's OYL storyline. This was a pretty fun, traditional Batman storyline which featured a number of aquatic scenes and battles.

4. Aquaman (vol. 6) #s 21-22 had a story in which Aquaman is trying to put a stop to the development of organized crime in Sub Diego. He consults Batman in both issues. Its not exactly a team-up, but it does involve them working together in a non-JLA setting.

5. "Kiss of Death" a two parter from Aquaman (vol. 6) #s 30-31, involved a police investigation of a serial killer, all set in Sub Diego. While Batman is never involved, this story is closer in tone to a Batman adventure than most of Aquaman's stories. On top of that, Aquaman goes to Arkham Asylum to consult Dr. Jonathan Crane about how to catch the murderer.

That's all I have for now.
