Have you played the "Be a Pro" feature online yet? It sounded really cool, the idea of having a career online.

I think you have to create a league to actually do this. Meaning you need 30 people who play a lot. I could not figure it out any other way.

I will say the online game modes are much better. Last year it felt like it took 5 minutes to update my roster. This year it is like 5 seconds. The game runs a lot more smoother then before. The hitting is better. The goalie moves are also much better.

It is a lot harder to score. Not sure thus far if that is a good or bad thing.

Online Team Play is the option that allows you to use your Be A Pro player online...

I've played about 60 games online, love it. My 360 gamercard is on my blog if you want to jam sometime (when Live is operational).

I was playing my friend's copy today. Man, that game is so much fun. We played 10 straight, 5 minute period games.

I don't know that I would say it was a big jump. You have a little more controls. You can use the A button to pick up peoples sticks on defense. I kinda like it. As well when your on offense you can press A and hold the puck off to one side.

They ruined fighting.

Online play is a little better. Before it would take like 3 minutes for roster updates. Now it is under 10 seconds.

Goal scoring is way harder. I think they tried to make it more difficult and get rid of the little niches that people figured out. One is how you could act like you were taking a slap shot behind the net then pass it real quick and your player would deflect it in. I played a guy in 08 who did it like 10 times and all goals. It was BS. They did away with that from what I've seen.

My disc has done something weird though and won't play. It looks like there is a color difference on it. I am fairly mad and just don't have the money to buy a second disc right now.
