Sorry to nitpick, Augie, but Sam Jones played Flash on the MOVIE version of Flash with Max Von Sydow as Ming, etc, music by Queen, (Flash! Ah-ah...), not in the cheesy Sci-Fi update...

I like to purposefully put one whopper of a mistake in a column just to see if anyone's paying attentiong. Congrats, Brother Zag, for being the first to point it out!

(Is anyone buying that. Yeah, crap, I blew that one. Don't know what I was thinking. That'll teach me for writing past my bedtime.)

Thanks,
-Augie

On mistakes, there's also the fact that the address for this board is http://www.comicbookresources.com/HYPERLINK according to the column ;)

Guys, Augie NEVER makes mistakes, so I don't know what you're talking about.

Sincerely,

LOL! A very "No Prize-y" answer, Augie :)

I'm trying so hard not laugh at my desk because, in the plot keywords in IMDB, it lists "Shirtless Male Bondage" before anything else. Take that William Moulton Marston!

About the Spirit TV pilot: ABC ran it during the summer. I wanted to watch it, but I was to be out of town in those pre-VCR days.

Why did I want to watch it? TV Guide gave a rave review, wondering what exactly it took to get picked up for a series, since this did not.

I love that film, but you're not suggesting that it's not cheesy are you?

Of course not! It is, however, finely aged cheese!
