Ambush Bug #3 - as expected this is not as funny as Ambush Bug's as old, and that's mostly due to me caring less about the current DC status quo that this series is making fun of.
Perhapanuts #4 - great series!
Nova #17 - love it!
100 Bullets vol.12 - one more volume to go. As with all 100 Bullets volumes I will need to reread the previous few volumes, but that is a treat. I think I will read 9 through 11 this weekend.
Uncanny X-Men TP - the weakest of Brubaker's series, but that is pretty faint damning as I enjoy this a ton.
Wolverine: First Class - I think so.
Spidey Family Digest - I am a sucker for these digests
Abe Sapien volume 1 - anyone read this? Is it as good as the BPRD stuff? Is it required reading? I am probably getting it, but this week is so pricey!

I read it. Really nice art. The story was decent if not a bit incomprehensible in places - but really, what Hellboy/BPRD book isn't at some point? Also, not sure that it is required reading but like with all stuff from the Mignola-verse, I'm sure that it will get referred to at some point in one of the books.

Ultimate Spider-Man #126
Usagi Yijimbo #114
Zorro #7
I Kill Giants #3 (Image) - by Kelly, Niimura. Very emotional issue, very touching. Creative backup story was fun again. I don't know which way this series is going to go, but I'm concerned that the main character is going to lose it soon. I just hope the story does not get all silly and weird for no reason. Her craziness and emotional state is an interesting read.
Angel: Revelations #5 (Marvel Knights) - by Aguirre-Saccsa, Pollina, Hollingsworth. A good last issue to the series but I don't like how he's always portrayed as floating away, when it doesn't call for it and that's not his ability. In retrospect that is my main problem with this series. It doesn't know what it is. Whether to be a straight, otherworldly superhero story, supernatural story or a fairytale story. Many aspects of the series seems to be based (particularly the narration) on what should be shown and read as a storybook that has no basis in the Marvel X-Men superhero universe. It never fully realizes as a storybook and that is my main fault with this book. Another thing I would've liked to see is this wonderful new style of Pollina's put into an Angel book that is more current and not him in his high school days.
Teen Titans #63 (DC) - by McKeever, Barrows w/Goldman, Jose & Ferreira, Reis. I like the art in this issue and I think Barrows, if he is the one that used to draw mainly horror comics, has had a good impact on the art style on this book but I think this issue has too many artists involved. The art style in this issue is all over the place and it's disconjoining to see. The story & dialogue were a bit weird, but still fun for a casual fan.
Flash Gordon #1 (Ardden Entertainment) - by Deneen, Green. I'm not sure if the Richard Emms involved in this book is the one from the past Marvel books, but if he is, I can see where the artistic influence from this book came from. I didn't know about this book but it's very good. The art, though highly computerized fits in nicely with the story and the artistic qualities mesh very well. I like the Agent Dale character as she seems to be not the typical weak female and calls out Gordon on each of his advances towards her. The dialogue is very good and it does not bogg down the pace of the story at all. This seems like it may be a set up for a future movie, but in any case, it is very good. I look forward to the next issue! :)
Ubu Bubu #3 (SLG) - by Smart. Again, Jamie makes with the fun, fun, fun wrongness that saturates this series and never ends. If you like laughing at wrongness, this is the book for you! ;)
Proof #12 (Image) - by Grecian, Rossmo, Guzowski, Casey. I LOVE the cover from this issue. So basic, integral to the interior story, everything about it! I love the dragon ending and the way this issue was able to handle and execute the 3 plots, the sewer story, the Proof story and the ink monkey story. This issue was laid out so well, that it was easy to follow and progress from one story to the next! One thing I want to know about is Agent Autumn Song. I liked the backup story but the art with the narration was a little hard to follow at times.

I'm particularly taken by that Lucy Knisley book. She has more good stuff on her livejournal (http://lucylou.livejournal.com/).

I've read it before, borrowed from a friend, but I never managed to get all the issues, so this complete collection came in quite handy.
