Hey, is there a prequel to this I might have missed? Seems LOTDK #42/43 references another encounter between Bats and Ivy I may have missed. Even Gordon makes a reference. Anyone know anything about this?

yeah they're talking about Poison Ivy Year One in the Shadow of the Bat Annual 3, which is collected in the Four of a Kind tpb containing year one stories for Ivy, ManBat, Riddler and Scarecrow. It's cool because it's a retelling of her 1960's first appearance instead of a total revision, and she's true to her original self in that she doesn't have extreme plant control powers and she's focused on getting Batmans attention more than anything else. In a way she's still just a smitten, confused, reckless young girl going through a bit of a stage, which leads nicely into Hothouse where she's repetant and genuinly trying to reform

You know what? That's what I figured at first. But they keep mentioning that she had total control over Bats. And then Gordon knows about it well. When the only time in that storyline she had seduced Bats was as Bruce Wayne. That's why I thought something was amiss.
