Get ready for a wait for Riddick, it's one of the games Acti-Blizzard promptly dropped after the merger. Well, technically it's been 'put on hold', but...*shrug*

As for Brutal Legend, Activision has declined to publish it. The developers have said it will come out, they're just going to have to find someone interested. Shouldn't be too hard.


They also canceled a second Scarface game, which I was looking forward to.

lol...I usually dismiss anything I hear about it. It was first announced in 1997. I was 12 and in 7th grade.

The pc versions of Fable Two, Fallout 3, and maybe just maybe the forthcoming Highlander game. Though as a Highlander fan:redface: my expectations are very, very low.

Is Dragon Age still coming out? The game was announced right after Jade Empire came out, but was put on the backburner after Mass Effect was announced. Given the fact that Bioware is working on Mass Effect 2, the Kotor MMO and then Mass Effect 3 I think the game may have been scrapped.

Yeah, I was 11 when DNF was announced. But they've released 2 trailers for it in the last 9 months. Considering it's development time that's basically back to back. I'm hoping to see it by the end of 2010. 3010 at the latest.

What? No, it hasn't been scrapped. They had a big demo at E3, and several gameplay demos since.

Trailers are created for games all the time, a surprising number of which, get cancaled. Famous examples include old Duke Nukem Forver trailers as well as Daredevil for Playstation 2.

Recent trailers, with step-by-step walkthroughs of entire first sections of the game?

When they never hinted there were any problems, or had thoughts about canceling it? And new stuff is coming out about it all the time?

All I'm saying is that I've been burned in the past so I don't get excited about a game until a firm released date is announced. This rule goes double for computer games.

That doesn't even make sense. None of those games are scheduled to come out before Dragon Age. Mass Effect 3 isn't even in development yet and the new KOTOR game just got announced. What makes you think Bioware is putting a higher priority on games they aren't actually developing yet over a game that's due out next year?

I think part of the problem was that Dragon Age was announced to early. They pretty much announced it when they decided to do it, instead of later in development.

And the MMO is being done by the studio in Austin.

It's pretty rare for a title to get scrapped this far in development short of a company going under.
