Robin III is just stupendous! Tim Drake must stay Robin forever in DC Comics history. Let him grow past the boy/teen wonder thing, but never go off into a different identity like Dick Grayson and Jason Todd did. It'll be totally awesome? And that new Jason Bard a.k.a. Red Robin is sweet, here to stay!
And you know Jason Bard is Red Robin, how?

If you don't think Jason Todd is "sweet", I will greatly respect you.
Tim Drake is a great character, love him almost as much as Dick. I do he hope he remains Robin forever, he can get a new more adult Robin suit someday (if necessary, though the current suit is fine for me), but I hope he stays Robin.

Thanks! I've already seen it on www.dccomics.com.
And where's the part about Jason Bard being Red Robin?

I'm guessing he means Jason Todd, but even that is wrong. The Red Robin who appears in this issue (last month's) is definitely NOT Jason.
His first post mentions both Jason Todd and Jason Bard so I'm guessing he knows they're different people. While Bard is as good a candidate as any right now, I think Red Robin will be someone that wasn't just reintroduced. That way when Red Robin is unmasked, it'll be a surprise.
i am so confused right now

I'm enjoying Red Robin, despite the goofy name. It makes "Robin" look good lol

Well if the rumors are true *Rumor/Possible Spoiler* that Red Robin aka Jason Todd will replace Tim in the Robin book, then I love the prospect of Fabian writing Jason Todd

Again- It is just a stupid lazy name choice. He shares a name with a Fatty food resturant plus I can't" so much as think of the character withou getting that stupid stupid song in my head "When the Red Red Robin comes bob bob bobbing... along A-long. I'm not above looking up the rest of the lyrics and posting them. I pray it doesn't have to come to that.... The Scarlet Sapien is not a monster... not yet.

Jason Bard is a young 'streetsmart' private eye (ha ha always love that) that Batman recruits to be his eyes and ears during the day. he gets into some trouble with the new Tallyman. this is in the Face the Face issues, can't remember if that's his introduction though. he was kinda cool I thought.

Jason Bard has a long history. He used to be Babs Gordon's boyfriend back in the early Batgirl stories.

Issues 177 and 178 were such great reads. The Robin RIP tie-ins were really all set up for the chaos that is now hitting Gotham.
I'm a huge fan of Nicieza ever since his work on Cable and Deadpool. Did Fabian Nicieza start with issue 175 or did he arrive sooner than that?
For the record, Nicieza writing this title is what convinced me to try reading Robin. Otherwise, I'd probably still be reading Batman and Detective comics.
Honestly, I never had much interest in Robin by himself, but I really like the concept of him trying to fill the role that Batman used to hold over Gotham. Makes for a great unlikely hero, coming to age type story.
Has the quality of Robin improved dramatically? or is it about the same as always?

From someone who has recently read the entire Robin series... It recently improved dramatically after Beechen's insidiously horrible reign on this book had finally ended... but this book has been pretty high quality for the entirity of run with the of course Beechen's run and some really annoying stories by Lewis...

Isn't Jason Bard still blind?
I don't know but that would be kind of appropriate since his costume reminds me more of Dr- Mid- Nite than any thing Robin oriented. Still hate the name. When he tells the Joker his name in their first confrontation, I would so love for the Joker to just stare at him with a sour expression and say" That's just Stupid."

I'd put money on Bruce first and Jean Paul Valley second.

No, he's not.
How'd that happen?
And that's not even the most surprising thing about the last issue (or maybe it's the previous). I don't understand Steph's angle at all.
