Just looking for some opinions on whether WildCATS (vol. 2 I think) by Jim Lee is worth purchasing.
It looks as though I can pick up the first 15 to 17 issues for about $25. Just wondering if the read is good enough to purchase or if I should pass and look for something else.
Thanks.

Jim Lee did the art on the first year or so of the first Volume of WildC.A.T.S.....maybe the first 13 issues.
It's good, but not great. I personally liked Joe Casey's take on the team that appeared in Volume Two of the series that is collected in the TPBs Vicious Circles, Serial Boxes and Battery Park. It was the best time in the franchise's history in my opinion.

Yeah, Lee did the first 13 issues and then made a few appearances during the Alan Moore run and I think in issue 50.
And yep, Joe Casey's run was amazing. Both volume 2 and Version 3.0 are simply awesome.

Yes it is worth reading. While we are on the Jim Lee subject, i think that Wildstorm Productions should leave DC Comics for more creative freedom! So that Jim Lee can sign a contract with Marvel to work on X-Men's Colossus solo outing. Like a Colossus/Dr. Who comic book crossover! Ever since X-Men #1 Colossus has always had something special... like his ongoing title was going to explode at any moment! He's a very popular rising star at Marvel Comics. And that project The Last Defenders featuring Colossus, She-Hulk, and The Blazing Skull was awesome by the way! So more creative freedom for Jim Lee and Wildstorm Productions right now!!! Fans demand it!!!

The only series I want to see Lee revisit is the Divine Right: Adventures of Max Faraday comic. That was a series that was ripe for potential but he had too many other responsibilities to tend to, so it only last for 12 issues.
