Yost gives a good interview. He acknowledges every question that's been left through the first six issues, and lets you know by #12, answers will be forthcoming. In some cases, he gives flat-out answers.

I'm on board for six more issues, at least. Likely many more.

Everything sounds and looks delicious.

I am so glad Domino is joining the team. She brings the fun. And I do hope Elixir sticks around. And by extension... well, I won't mention her. Yost and Kyle will be even more sick of me.

I just love the selection of villains for this book. Vanisher was a great enemy in Casey's arc and I'm eager to see what he's up to now.

Vanisher is a classic X-Men villain. He's vexed the first-raters time and time again. Why does Cyclops think X-23 and company stand a chance against him?

Looks amazing, but with old ghosts popping up I hope Lucifer stays dead.

“Warren can lend a hand. After all, Warren and Vanisher have had a run in recently in Joe Casey's 'Uncanny' arc,” Yost said. “[‘X-Force’] #8 is told from Warren's perspective"

So excited for this!

If Warpath is going to see his brother, then what is he doing in New Mexico? I thought he grew up in Arizona.

Unless that was just a "passin' thru" scene.

Hah. Having Domino around should be fun, since everyone else is all moody and unsure about what they're doing. Domino is going to be like, "Oh, stop being such a little girl! I'll shoot him."

Yost gives a good interview.

I was thinking the same thing...I'm not sure the book bares out what he says his ideas are, but I like that he has ideas and thoughts behind it.

cant wait for this arc to start and espicially cant wait for domino to join up, im also curious to see how sinister fits in with this arc and if the rumors are true and either maggot is coming back or maybe just his slugs

and just an FYi i read somewhere that i think Issue # 11 is going to be written by Jason AAron with Jason Pearson and Brandon Peterson doing the artwork

My thoughts; Eli Bard is linked to Selene with Wither in tow and Warpath will meet his brother resurected by the legacy virus. Odds are one of them is right.

Also, I know the game is no one naming whoever this she is that's associated with Elixir, but I've got no clue who it is! Driving me crazy!

I thought the very same thing...just as I read that part of the interview...and while I will NOT go on any wild speculation run trying to figure it out...(I love the lil suprises that are thrown at us anyways)...I can (and will) imagine a Darkchylde drawn by CLAYTON CRAIN...how absotively demonically beauty-full would she be, quite!!!!

Granted, V...Selene...(and we all know how I feel about her...major <3) is a dangling plot thread...since when has she been consorting with demons of Eli's ilk?....hhmmm...unless they plan incorporate the fact that she is a sorceress of some age...(which have been mentioned numerous times before but has never been made much of)...now THAT I could relish...delving deep (and I do mean DEEP) into not only Selene's past, but her eons-spanning history...oh wot joy would that bring.

This is definitely one of the best X-Books out there. I love that Angel can transformn into Archangel and I can see Warren becoming a very cool character again.

Its so crazy that Wolfsbane has eaten her father. I love when they do wild and unexpected things like that. Its a tragic character development for her though.

Yes, over the top violence that traumatizes a cast member is really unexpected with this writing team

So we've got an idea about the plots up to 12/13. After that I figure we'll be moving towards Selene...unless that plot has become the larger thing that C&C are working towards.

I couldn't be on board for issue 1 (money issues as well as I wasn't that interested). However after the team's appearance in Cable I decided to check them out in issue 7. This interview certainly helps allay my fears. I was worried this would be Wolverine and His Murderous Friends and I'm glad to see that the team isn't really coping with their mission statement.

I'm surprised to see both Warren and Elixir on the team. These are both characters I like. I also love that they're using Vanisher. I haven't read an appearance of his since X-Men #2 so it seems fairly bizarre and cool.

Re Vanisher vs. X-force.

That's a really unlikely matchup.Vanisher has been retconned since X-men #2 to be a complete wimp--see Fallen Angels mini circa '88.It's been a long time since he seemed like a serious character. It'll be interesting to see Yost's take on him.

Art looks great, although Archangel's blue face pops out too much/contrasts w/ his new black and silver duds too much. But then again, I guess I've just gotten so used to Crain's paints. Still, I was hoping they'd try to give him a paler blue tone b/c it really just stands out a bit too much w/ his darker costume color now (which I only just realized differs just slightly to his original; the new duds have full "coloring" around the hands where before it was just a wristband). Everything else tho is great.

It's a shame that Casey's life hit rock bottom at this point in time. I'm glad that he was able to sort himself out though. Sadly the selfish fanboy in me wishe's that he was able to follow through with his plan's for Warren. He's been the only writer in years that wanted to and had a proper vision for developing Angel as a character.

If he wanted it. I really wish that Joe could get another shot at the X Men.
