Just picked up the first three issues of this wild new series by Joe Casey earlier today, read the first issue and absolutely loved it! I just wanted to know what the rest of your thoughts were on this, or if anyone else is even reading it, as my LCS didn't carry it on the shelf and I had to special order it. What's the status of this book? Is it finding an audience?
P.s. this is my first post on these forums.

Charlatan Ball is the story of Chuck Amok, a washed up stage magician on the strip club circuit who, along with his rabbit Caeser, are transported to another dimension where magic is real. The individual responsible for their teleportation to this world is a vertically challenged mage named The Demon Empty, who has managed to manipulate the pair into participating in a sorcerous royal rumble. If G0dland is The Forever People and The Fourth World forced through Joe Casey's psychedelic psyche, then Charlatan Ball is his own warped take on Ditko and Lee's Dr. Strange.
That being said, the above description barely does the actual contents of the book justice. Andy Suriano turns out some incredible art, and Casey's script is delightfully whacked. The series is three issues in so far, and while I've got somewhat of an inkling as to where the first story arc is heading, I have no idea on how it's going to reach that point. I really hope this series finds an audience, and fast, because it's one I intend on sticking with for the long haul.
There's a five-page preview of the third issue on the Image website: check it out! (http://www.imagecomics.com/previews.php)
