Inhumans = Kree - Wha???

I recently read the Illuminati TPB and one thing has me puzzled. In the story where they straighten out Marvel-Boy (I think it was that story), Black Bolt refers to himself as "Kree-born." Now, I thought the Inhumans were a result of Kree genetic tampering. How does that qualify him as being Kree, which is what he clearly stated. I don't have the quotes in front of me, but he plainly said that he was of the same race as the Kree.

Oddly, you answered the question yourself. You're taking the phrase a little too literally. The Inhuman race was born of Kree technology.


That, and there's a good chance he was a Skrull at the time.
