TV advertising? Wow.

I have no idea how well it'll work, but I applaud the initiative.

to what purpose, are they going to increase the number of books the publish for this event?
I mean I guess minor league baseball doesn't cost that much to advertise for, but will the cost be justified?

gotta say I doubt it.

but it would be interesting to see.

There's going to be silence, some nut scratching, a few coughs, and then people will forget what they just saw and carry on.

I'd like to hear more about this nut scratching.

...wouldn't the time to have done this been... at the start of the event? And not... near the end?

That depends on what the end will be. Kind of like how Superman vs. Doomsday didn't get promoted, but Superman getting killed by Doomsday did.

doing this during the little league world series would have been a better move.

Just saying.

Well Marvel has a deal with minor league baseball. They had comic book day at my local ballpark, gave out a free marvel comic and had a mini-convention. It was pretty cool.

Exactly! Now I could understand doing this at the beginning, but at the end?

Also, the ending had better REALLY shake up the status quo (i.e. the Skrulls actually win or they decide to live together with humans on Earth) or else the 'Embrace Change' thing is going to be pretty stupid.

i wonder if the "embrace change" phrase might have actually come from Reed or Tony. that would be a twist. like maybe it's their ultimatum to the skrulls. "Your gods are dead! Your invasion failed! Embrace change or die!"
