Not a single response? Maybe its time for a bloodletting.

That Batman cover may be the single best piece of art Alex Ross has ever produced.

All Star Batman and Robin #12 - if it ships.

Detective #851 & Batman #684

I'm actually starting to like the sound fo Denny O'Neill's Batman story. Seems like Nightwing is out on his own, especially with Tim going awol, as is suggested in the Robin solicits.

That would be the one massive upside of Batman R.I.P, for me. A lot more Dick Grayson, in the Batman books, JLA, Outsiders etc. That is, of course, if he does become Batman.

And yeah, that's a beautiful cover on Batman #684.

Yeah, there is a lot of Nightwing love in those solicits, which is good news for me, since he and Kyle Raynor are my two favorite DC characters.

Frankly, I'm surprised Flash #247 isn't solicited with the words "Final issue." Maybe they've got a couple of more months before Flash: Rebirth, or maybe they're actually planning to pick it up again afterward? I've been assuming we'll see either Flash vol.1 #351 or Flash vol.3 #1 once the dust settles, but figured volume 2 was going to be toast.

Or maybe they're just pretending that it's a secret that the book is ending.

My favourite, too. Hopefully, if Nightwing does become Batman, he takes over Batman's role fully, so we get several books a month featuring the character.

And also, is Batman & Superman out of regular continuity? Super-powered Dark Knight opposed by his original protege?

Yay for Etrigan appearing in the Superman/Batman vs Vampires and Werewolves book! And another yay for the Creature Commandos in Action Comics! FUN.

Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade looks great. So does the Vixen book.

And as a new Legion of Super Heroes fan I am very much looking forward to the Death of Ferro Lad collection.

Comic books? Like on paper and stuff? They still publish those?

I thought everything just went right to bittorrent.

Never seen so many unfinished covers in a month's worth of solicitations. Wonder if there is some kind of reason for that.

Howard Porter on Titans? Thank goodness they're doing something...

Huge death spoiler over on JLA (if you looked at the cover). There's a certain fan who is not going to be happy about it....

Is it just me or does Titans #8 sound like the exact same plot the writer used in Outsiders #23?

From BillWalko at the comicbloc forums:

OUTSIDERS #23 - 2004
Written by Judd Winick
Art by Shawn Moll & Kevin Conrad
Cover by Doug Mahnke
Guest artists Shawn Moll and Kevin Conrad come aboard for "Lockdown" - a story only acclaimed writer Judd Winick could tell! The Outsiders are trapped in their own headquarters as they try to uncover the traitor in their midst. What happens when seven trapped super-heroes stop being polite and start getting real?

TITANS #8 - 2008
Written by Judd Winick
Art and cover by Howard Porter
There's a traitor in the Titans' midst, and the entire Tower is under lockdown until the team can discover which member could betray them. The problem is, there's no real way to investigate, since the traitor is now a sleeper agent!

I didn't say he was a hack nor do I think he's a hack.

It was a joke. Relax.

Um.... you edited out my post so it would not longer look like a joke and then YOU tell me to relax?

I'm pumped up for Black Lightening Year one and Rage of the red lanterns the most. But I don't know what to think about the coming Kryptonians story. It's strange to me. Many questions!

But I don't know what to think about the coming Kryptonians story. It's strange to me. Many questions!

Here's my question:

Will they reference the fact that, like, a year ago there were a ton of Phantom Zone Kryptonians ravaging and destroying Metropolis?
