The Ex X-Man Formally Havok
Summary: straight back from the war of kings, Havok is lost in changes his friends have gone through. Messiah complex? Divided we stand? Manifest destiny?
In the penthouse of a hotel in San Francisco a telepath wakes up in a shock. She senses a mind she hasn’t heard for a year. She quickly gets dressed.
“Scott……..Scott walks up” the former while Queen Emma frost mentally whispered to her sleeping lover. He finally wakes up groaning
“Emma? Why are you dressed?” the Cyclops asks
“Its Alex, Scott I hear him, he’s back”
Yes rocketing towards earth is Scott’s brother back from a hellish experience in space. Immediately Scott gets dressed, Emma tells him that his brother is heading straight into the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
They rush to the x-men’s base and to the nearest x-jet. A several minutes later they find the crashed ship. They land near it, the back of the ship opens up showing a blonde man caring a green haired woman on his back.

There in the jet now, several minutes have gone by and all the blonde can talk about is his girlfriend.
“It was deathbird, she attacked Lorna. She’s in a kind of comma”
“Alex! We know you’ve told us just tell me, what happened in space!”
“It was Gabriel, that bastard…caused a huge war millions of people are dead…. My fault….Rachael... She’s dead! It’s all my fault your daughters dead”

It’s been two days Alex has fully recovered, Lorna still in a comma. They were the first mutants to use the x-men’s new hospital wing. Today was the day Alex would be released; He hadn’t spoken to anyone at all.
“Well Alex once again you’ve recovered remarkably” Hank McCoy the Beast said. Behind him Scott walked in.
“That’s great news hank; could I talk to my brother for a moment?” Scott sent hank out of the room shutting the door behind him
There they stood, Alex new what he was doing. His brother was trying to read him, trying to see what he was thinking. Scott finally broke the silence.
“Listen Alex, I know you’ve been through a lot but we’re at a dark time for mutants and I’d love it if you came back on to the team, you’ve always been part of the family.”
“No, That’s were your wrong” the first thing Alex had said in two days “since I’ve come back I have been thinking about my entire experience with the x-men”
“And...” Scott didn’t know where he was going with this but the look on his brother’s face scared him
“I’ve been apart of this ‘team’ on and off again but never have I been part of this family. It’s always just been me and Lorna and every time I’m with the x-men I ruin it with her”
“It doesn’t have to be like that Alex”
“I’m leaving; I have to be on my own again. If, When Lorna wakes up I’ll come back”
“Will you at least stay for Rachael’s funeral?” Scott pleaded.
“Go to the funeral of a girl I feel I killed, c’mon Scott” and with that he left, left the mansion, left San Francisco, and left the X-men.
