I got a beta key, evidently they are trying out the system I guess for uploading to customers and test it out but its pretty cool so far.
Its like steam only you can buy older pc games. On the front page has a guarntee that everything is drm free and works in xp/vista. Read some interview with one the guys who started it and he said they had guys specifically go in and rework the install files and such so all their games would work in vista and xp.
Looks like you pay and can download them anywhere and anytime. All full versions of the games, says once you buy a game its yours forever so no time limits. I havent downloaded any yet so I dont know if its like steam or you download the full game in exe format.
Only has 28 games now but forums say there are alot more coming and prices are almost all 5.99 with a couple at 9.99
This could be cool though, especially if I like EA jumps on board and we get system shock 2 or shadow warrior and hard to find games like that. If they sold them cheap these companies could make decent chunk of change off games they havent made a profit on in 15 years.
