Anyone know what's happening with Lobo?

Is he appearing in Final Crisis or any of the tie-ins?

Any plans for him in the upcoming "Rage of the Red Lanterns" or " Blackest Night" arcs?

Seems to me he'd more than likely have to make an appearance in one of DC's big cosmic storylines.

The main man shows up whenever he wants. No one pushes him to do anything. Not even DD.

I've wanted someone to ask Grant if he ever planned on continuing his ideas on Lobo after what he did in 52. So far nobody seems to care.

I'd like to see him show up and fight Kalibak.

He did in one Justice League episode, but it sucked.

I'd like to see Garth Ennis write him.

I think that is the greatest idea since sliced bread!
please God make this happen!

Ennis already wrote him, in the Hitman/Lobo special. Needless to say, Ennis doesn't appear to be a fan of the Main Man. It was funny as hell, though. Track it down, it's worth it.

Some time ago, Keith Giffen said he might write Lobo again if DC ever gave him permission to completely reinvent the character from the ground up. Given that Lobo's last mini was possible the worst comic I've ever read, THAT may be the only hope of ever seeing Lobo again.

But on a more serious note, if he doesn't show up for the Green Lantern Blackest Night, then you can pretty much write him off as one of the guys that shw up in the background whenever someone needs filler space in a big group splash page.

It's pretty crappy when the creator of a character has to ASK whether he can re-invent the concept.

All they'd have to do is switch off his ridiculous toon-force type durability and tone back his healing factor and make him more of a brick who's tougher to damage.

Lobo could still have his cloning ability, but in order for that to happen, he's gotta bleed. He can take insane ammounts of punishment before he bleeds though, as his cloning ability should be a last resort type of thing.

Basically, Superman hits him a few times, he's battered, but not bleeding. He recovers fast, so Superman pours it on, hammering Lobo relentlessly, until Lobo falls to his knees, with an evil, wicked grin on his face as a single drop of blood trickles from Lobo's lip and hits the ground.

Now Superman's gone and done it. He's pushed Lobo too far, and now he's gotta fight two of him.

My point is, he'd be almost like a Xenomorph, whereas your almost too scared to attack him, cause it just leads to more trouble.
