Thats right. Just like Resident Evil: REbirth, their doing a remake of RE2 for the Wii.

I think thats freakin awesome! I cant wait for it!

I cant believe its in RE4's over the shoulder view point. I'm guessing this is the exclusive game for wii that capcom said they would announce in august.

And even if they did remake it why pick the wii that will hamper the graphics more so than other systems and then Ill have to play it with the wiimote. Ill pass.

As intriguing as this is, I agree that the article says it is 100% rumor at this point. I think it would make more sense for Capcom to make an entirely new RE game for the Wii since RE5 is coming to the 360 and PS3. I bought the Umbrella Chronicles and think it's a fun game, but I'd rather see something new than another rehashing of RE history.

Interestingly enough, Capcom is remaking a RE game for the Wii. They are remaking the remake of the original Resident Evil: http://kotaku.com/5054004/capcom-cannot-quit-resident-evil-wii+makes

So I guess this is a Wiimake of a remake (cue cymbal crash). :wink:

Although It seems too soon to be making another remake of the original game. At least RE2 hasn't received the make over treatment yet.
