Decent renditions of Aquaman or Captain Marvel would be nice to see.

Huntress.
Vic Sage if he was still alive but Renée would be cool too.
But I'd definitely buy a Huntress on-going.

I would love to see a Black Alice mini! Maybe even one that also features Misfit, from BoP, and it would explore the family connection they have! It might make for some good reading, especially if Gail "THE SHIZZNIT" Simone wrote it and had Nicola Scott on pencils! Why fix something that ain't broke!

Hawkman and Atom - Two separate stories each issue, written by JMS, with art by Gary Frank (Hawkman) and Frank Quietly (Atom). With the Atom being Ray Palmer.

There's a few ongoings I'd like to see: Jason Todd, Sinestro, Riddler, Batwoman, and Lex Luthor.
As far as what ongoings I'd like to see again would be: Deathstroke, Joker, and Harley Quinn

I too would love a Huntress on going (especially if written by Rucka or Simone).
I'd also really like to see a mini about Mercy Graves for some reason. She's just always been really interesting when she gets in on the action.
I'd also like to see a Starman mini - crazy Starman that is.

Yes, yes! Really?
From Newsarama's coverage of one of the DC Nation panels from SDCC08,
Plans for Zatanna? DiDio said there will be a new Zatanna series written by Paul Dini next year.

My new title would be Adventure Comics, an anthology title for all those characters that can't support their own book.
Impulse...
again? in that respect, I'd like another series of Lobo. :)

My new title would be Adventure Comics, an anthology title for all those characters that can't support their own book.
Alternatively, they could make Action Comics a $ 3.50 oversized book with a Superman lead with a strong creative team and rotating backing features. The title has such a rich history as an anthology book, it irks me that it's been "just another Superman comic" for the past 20 years or so.

A new The Losers comic by Andy Diggle/ or Jock.
I would like a team book with characters like Blue Beetle,Manhunter, A team book for cool street level heroes that arent JLA level.

Hawkgirl, with a better-fitting (or just plain better, in at least one artist's case) creative team this time.

I'd love to see a Grant Morrison mini entitled Most Excellent Superbat and Friends.
I'd also like to see someone launch a Agents of SHADE title start up, featuring Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, and the Question, among others, going on wack-a-doo adventures. Maybe they could bring in some of the other Seven Soldiers crew that haven't done anything since, like Shining Knight or Klarion.
Loose Cannon deserves another mini.
I'd also like to see a Starman mini - crazy Starman that is.
I was just thinking about that. Well played, ma'am. Well played.

The Early Adventure's of Grace Choi.
Issues: 12 (It's a year long mini)
Art by: Ed Benes and Ian Churchill.
Written: By various writters.
Basically the adventures of Grace exploring everything shes ever done since before she was introduced to us in the Outsiders. Simple put, I liked free to roam bi-sexual Grace, as oppose to the current one. Shes not as fun anymore. Remember how she used to interact with Roy? That was definitely more kickarse than what we've been getting with her and ugh Thunder.

I'd definitely like to see a Frankenstein's Monster series. His mini was a highlight of the Seven Soldiers storyline.
I could also go for an Exiles-style multiversal-outcasts dimension-hopping series. I'd be tempted to use various incarnations of the different members of Extreme Justice, just because I always thought the individual members were cool but the series was very poor.

I'd love an anthology series too.
Otherwise, I'd go into absolute fits of joy if we could see Impulse or Harley Quinn get a nice FUN series again!
Catwoman is another cancelled (albeit more recently) title that didn't deserve getting the boot, IMO.

That one sounds cool. I think it is a real shame that DC really missed the boat on doing anything with those 7 Soldiers characters. I thought I Spyder was a cool character that someone could make some good comics around.
I'm all about the villains these days, so I'd like to see DC do a "Gotham Underworld" series based on a wide cast maybe centering around The Penguin, The Riddler and I guess Catwoman would work well now that she doesn't have her own series. They could bring in and out Batwoman, The Question and the Gotham PD. Personally I think that could be a good read and would be a great title to do back story and setup on Bat series crossovers.
If Paul Dini can get the story mojo working like he has had on Detective with Zatanna along with some of the things Morrison did in the 7 Soldiers mini-series, I think that could be a good series.
I'd like to see someone good do a nice long JSA mini-series based in their prime leading up to WWII. It would be cool to see some Jay Garrick Flash or Green Lantern or Wildcat stories with those guys young. I kept thinking that reading the Sandman Mystery Theatre series how great it would be to have someone to show those golden age guys in their prime, but with more of a modern comic slant.

I'll second this motion! The original Beast Boy mini was actually one of the best mini series I'd ever read.
And actually, J. Torres had a Beast Boy: Year One mini proposal last year that DC was seriously considering, but I understand that due to the poor performance of the Raven and Cyborg minis its probably not going to happen. :frown:
*****
I want to see more of these Chinese and Japanese teams that Morrison created. A Great Ten mini would be good. I'd also like to see a Big Science Action or Most Excellent Super-Bat series.

Out of 7 Soldiers I'd like to see more of the Manhattan Guardian. I'd also like Newsboy Army series with their wacky and surreal adventures in some distant 'good old days' past.
Conan meets Kirby and superheroes would be thje idea for an Aurakles Story.
And of course more Frankenstein!
Outside of 7 Soldiers I'd really like DC to do a weekly, black and white 'phone book' like we see in Japan. They could replace the Johnny DC books, mix in some reprints and make that their kid-friendly entry to the market. I think that would be the way to go with the venerable 'Adventure Comics' name.

These are all fantastic ideas. I'd definitely keep up with this series, as long as they don't manga-tize the artwork, because it almost always comes across as a cheap gimmick.
Detective Comics oughtta give it a shot too, considering there are plenty of great detectives in the DCU (i.e. Ralph and Sue Dibny, Detective Chimp, etc.) who do excellent work, but are rarely shown.
Anyone wanna start a petition?

Yeah I'm thinking of manga as a business model (black and white, cheap paper, low price, lots of pages, weekly, collections for the good stuff) not as an art style.
Of couse since manga is more diverse than occidental comics there really is no such thing as a 'manga style' but that's another rant.
