I'm doing some prep work for my bi-weekly Call of Cthulhu campaign right now, and I just noticed a familiar name. "Gregory Rucka" is listed as one of the writers for volume 2 of The Investigators' Companion. I can't prove it, but I suspect that he wrote the chapter on professional investigators, which has some cool tips on how private investigators gather information. And it's possible that he also wrote the chapter on forensic evidence.

He also helped to write the 1990's Handbook supplement for COC. I managed to get him to sign my copy at DragonCon a few years ago.
Many moons ago, I wanted to compile a list of comic book professionals who got their start in tabletop RPG's, such as Bill Willingham, Tim Truman, Pat Zircher, etc. Never got around to it, obviously.

Why do you suspect he wrote that chapter?
