Superman and Palin

This installment's two main themes were actually brought together on one of the news shows by Ben Stein. He actually equated Palin with Superman... which may sound quite an endorsement, but it wasn't. He was invoking the Baby Superman, on the rocket from Krypton, who had to be pumped full of information in order to understand the world he was about to enter.

I think it was Jon Stewart who joked that not only is Palin an expert on Russia because Alaska's close to Russia, since Mt. McKinley is the tallest mountain in North America she's also an expert on outer space.
