et is often considered to be one of the worst games in existance.
as a brainstorm.
let's assume you have control of et for the atari.
what would you do?

Make it a clone of Pac Man, with ET running around a maze eating Reeses Pieces and running from government agents.
Instant million seller.

the scary part is what was suggested was both completely doable within the limited time frame given by speilberg and keeps the door open to be able to exploit the et franchise at a later date.
plus make it so the button allows him to levitate barriers and switch them, by extending his neck. :D

Which is why I suggested it. Doable, plausible for the time period and likely would have sold better than the game that was actually produced.
