This book is hilarious. What can you (Archvillain Supreme) do for an encore when you've already frozen the Supreme Court, Impersonated the Pope and held the Moon hostage?

Doctor Impossible is a great character. Sort of Luthor/Doomish (without the 3rd Person speech), with a sense of his own absurdity.

Highly recommend.

Indeed. Read it out of the public library a couple of months ago & enjoyed it immensely. Offhand, I think it's the only superhero novel I've ever read.

I was somewhat nonplussed. It wasn't really covering any ground I hadn't already seen covered in mainstream superhero comics.
I think the main disappointment for me was the fact that, after the introduction, I expected Dr.Impossible to be ACTUALLY intelligent, as opposed to 'comic book' intelligent.
Enjoyable enough, but I didn't find it exceptionally literary.

I really liked it, one big satire/homage. Wouldn't mind a sequel.
