Specifically the solution for the panties (http://www.dccomics.com/dcdirect/?dcd=8924). I dunno what the proper name for that? Panty sash?
Just churning in my own mind how I would approach translating the WW costume to the big screen. I think this would be great! It's f'n hot and sexy but somehow not as hokey as the panties in my mind and more warrior-like.
Just wondering if that version of the costume made some appearances in the comics. Seems to me she wore something like this in KC but lent my book to a friend so can't use it for reference.

Yep, it's a loin cloth, similar to the one she wore in Kingdom Come. Personally, I think a classical warrior's skirt would translate better to live action. Here's a pic of a costume (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/BnL/WonderWoman.jpg) I drew in MS Paint that I think would look good on the big screen.
And a slight variation. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/BnL/WonderWoman-1.jpg)

Loincloth! Duh.
Yup I like the warrior skirt also. Less sex appeal maybe? Still like it though.

Here's a great warrior skirt costume from the series itself.
Take a bow Drew Johnson.

Yes! In my mind I see lots of that sort of thing in a WW movie. For instance, the tournament that was organized by Hippolyta to determine the ambassador is more like a gladiator style throw down. I see arenas (http://howard2.lu-gats.com:1081/Photos/2001/1122-1127_Italy_Trip/01%20Verona/Italy_15_2001_1122_055.JPG)with tough sexy women wrestling hard in the dust, sweating under the blistering sun. Breaking bones and getting injured. I see sexy female blacksmiths (http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/04_03/2LucyBlacksmithNNP_468x537.jpg) forging WW's weapons out of mystical materials.
All that sexy stuff!
The other angle is contrast and juxtaposition. Portray the amazons as very feminine but demonstrate their power through feats. Have gorgeous elegant women (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Amazon_preparing_for_the_battle_(Queen_Antio pe_or_Armed_Venus)_-_Pierre-Eugene-Emile_Hebert_1860_-_NG_of_Arts_Wash_DC.jpg) plant their swords, javelins and arrows into their enemies eyes and mouth. Have them lop off limbs in a very lithe manner. Like 300 (http://video.google.ca/videosearch?q=300%20clip&ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&sa=N&tab=wv#q=300%20battle&emb=0). With dresses.
