Since this is getting two covers, I figured why not talk about the covers since it's got Final Crisis bolded all across the front of the covers.

Not big on variants, but I must say I loved that Ranzz cover better than I did the Superboy Prime cover.

Maybe I'll get to see them one day.

Which was the best cover for Legion of Three Worlds #1?

The beauty of the Lightning Lad cover are the other two Lightning Lads inside his lightning bubble. It's just more representative of what's going on.

It's the same way with every Final Crisis book I plan on getting...the full cover. I don't like the slivers. Unless they turn around and make the full covers dealer incentives, always the full covers.

This is Legion of Three Worlds; I could care less that they want to connect it to Final Crisis, and I sure don't want a cover that wastes 2/3 of the space advertising that fact.

I hate the sliver covers, because there is so little artwork visible. The Lightning Lad cover was just okay, but at least it was a full cover picture.

The "sliver" covers just aren't well designed in my opinion. None of them look good so i've stuck with the full covers through all the FC books i'm buying. The others just waste too much space

The Lightning Lad cover easily destroys the Superboy Prime cover.

This is one of those rare cases where the sliver cover pretty much sucks compared to the full splash of Lighting Lad because so much of the artwork is obscured. You don't do with Perez so I went with the Lightning Lad one which is colored by Dave McCaig no less (one of my favorite colorists).

The best cover in all Final Crisis so far is the Supergirl from FC #3 , but i do love the Lightning Lad cover .

FC is starting to look like a pretty fantabulous event with enjoyment increasing , unlike Secret Invasion in which interest is diminishing......

I really don't see any merit to the sliver cover format at all. It's a huge reduction in amount of artwork that we get, replaced with big boring side-panels of red. At least with the Civil War covers, Marvel was displaying a fair amount of artwork on the display racks.

To the right person, that Lightning Lad cover (and the others to come like it) means so much. Its just amazing and it literally is what the series is called. It shows the three versions of the same character that will be in play. Whoever thought of this needs to stand up and be recognized.

I agree with you there the supergirl and the barry alen are some of my favorite covers ever...I prefer all the silver age covers although the main final crisis one's kill the Lo3W covers...
