Awwwwww
Thank you!
I was doing yardwork and I thought I'd gotten shot. Basically what happened was the two long muscles that usually lay along the spine seized up then spasmed, threw me backwards, and got a bit, well, torn up down by the tailbone and lumbar.
No idea what brought it on really.
Anyway for the next few weeks I am in a back brace. I am forbidden from driving or riding in a car, lifting over a pound, or bending over ten degrees. They have me on fistfuls of meds and some of them I think they invented new vowels for.
But anyway I can still rocket-jockey a keyboard so I am helping coordinate fan evacuations from Gustav.

Thank you everyone. You all are very sweet. And strange. I try to look at this injury as a blessing. Maybe this is where I needed to be. It did happen immediately after I finished a training course, at a time when I had no deadlines. I've done research, answered correspondence, and done some RPing and a few sketches despite the meds.
Had a backslide today *hah!* but overall the recovery is good. And I am happy to report there were no "help please!" cries over my network from Gustav.
