Lady Blackhawk is absolutely rad as heck, mostly because she reminds me exactly of my mother.

Aww, it was missing my fave drawing of Lady Blackhawk ever: The Brian Bolland illustration from her WHO'S WHO listing back in the 80s. Sooooo good.

Zinda is so adorable in that "I'll have an all out brawl with you if you mess with me" sorta way.

I have a soft spot for the old 'Aviatrix' characters.... I'd LOVE to read some old Flying Jenny strips. I love the attitude, the brassiness, and the COSTUMES! I adore the old Aviator-styled looks when they appear in comics.

So needless to say, I'm THRILLED Gail revived Zinda!!!!

It may not be the most PC choice, but I just think the 'Lady' title adds come panache. I think it could be used in the same way Madame Hydra uses that title..... to denote rank, rather than gender, if there were a new Blackhawk crew,

Actually I agree. And how pissed off would those jerks at CHECKMATE be if Zinda and her crew kept stealing their thunder and thumbing their noses at the "rules" to do it?
