Sam's right: all that running back and forth across the keyboard and jumping on the keys really wears me out, especially since I'm not as young as I used to be. I had to stop and rest for ten minutes after that first sentence. The colon alone nearly killed me!

But seriously ... aww, shrike, you easy breezy beautiful thing, you make me blush. I'm never sure anybody actually reads my posts! Things have been really busy with me -- among other things, I got a promotion and feel like I have less time to goof around on the Internets (at work) -- but I'll try to do better.

As for the smell, it's something I'm a little sensitive about, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't constantly bring it up, Simone. It would be so much nicer if I exuded an overwhelming scent of gardenias OR pepperoni, but when you smell like BOTH, suddenly you're some kind of outcast. Kids can be so cruel. Also comic book writers.
