(1) In Final Crisis Rogue's Revenge we see our old pal The Pied Piper covered with fithy rats, I think they are sewer rats, and also The Pied Piper is now portrayed as being kind of crazy. The Pied Piper is the only gay villain that we have, are they trying to say all gay villains are crazed filthy vermin lovers? Or is the Piper now a villain, or is he still a hero?

(2) In the Countdown to Final Crisis, which I'm still trying to figure out what it had to do with Final Crisis but at least it was better than Trinity which sucks, mutated rats swarmed all over one of the Triplicate Girls and ate her alive. This was a far worse fate than when Computo disintegrated one of the Triplicat Girls.

Okay, Discuss.

They're related to the mice from Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The rats created the DC Multiverse to find out the ultimate question to which the answer is 42.
