This week, we're going to get a little gruesome:
UNECCESSARY SURGERY
Let's see some amputations, beheadings, disembowellings, and general mutilations. Preferably done with a blade or tool of some sort.

I figure a random Jim Balent cover should get the idea across...

This comic was the beginning of the end for me, collecting wise. I bought this issue the week after it came out and I've never stopped since then.

Also, as a Star Wars RPG fan, I feel really sorry for the poor victim of Vader. She was an example of the Jedi player class.

I feel a little guilty about inflicting this on what will probably be several people who've never seen an Eerie Publications cover, but...

Nothing says "unnecessary surgery" like Marvel's "The Headmen", and in particular, Ruby Thursday. I mean, you took a hot chick and replaced her head with a giant red sphere... WTF?

She would never say where she came from. Yesterday don't matter if it's gone.

Hmmmm...another really tough theme this week. I couldn't really find anything in my collection that screams "unnecessary surgery" but I did find Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #3, which definitely involves some surgery...

Stonegold. Because I'm a perv.
Lance
09-02-2008, 11:38 PM
thehod gets my vote.
And the results are:
with one vote each: Chris Nowlin, worstblogever, Jeremi, Stonegold
with two votes: Schornforce, Beast of Yucca Flats, thehod
with three votes: Lance and Benday-dot
so we have a tie. I forgot to vote yesterday so I'll vote now
although Benday-dot's creeped me out I liked the layout of Lance's selection.
So Lance, get to it.
