it's a good one. so he's going to present an explanation for the mistakes of countdown and dotng, but it's still going to be up to the fans to latch on to that explanation or not. plenty of them are going to remain in the corner with their amrs crossed declaring that this shouldn't have happened in the first place.
fascinating stuff about bruce wayne in final crisis and his status afterwards too. i'm reminded of the bruce as a new god rumors, though i know that isn't exactly the case (from the horse's mouth).
i'm going to have to go pick up a copy of superman beyond tomorrow despite having sword off singles entirely.

This just makes me salivate over the end of Final Crisis #4 and Darkseid's first physical appearance in the comic. I have to echo everything he said- Darkseid was never in a fist fight in the entire original Fourth World saga, he is best as the ultimate twised manipulator. It's quite amazing how Morrison's managed to make his essence linger over everything, like a shadow on existence itself, without an actual physical appearance beyond one brief scene in the body of a Mob Boss.

...Darkseid's 'Fall' has actually caused the entire structure of the Multiverse to collapse...

Great article. I wish there was a printer-friendly version (there isn't, at least as far as I can find). Reading such a long piece on the computer makes my eyes hurt.

".........and yet I've seen a few people online having real trouble with the basics. In a lot of cases, it comes down to patience - everything will link up and be explained by the time the story's over and not before. If you can't be bothered waiting for answers and want the whole story at once, you'll be driven mad. It's serialized. That's just the way it is.
I can't really be expected to care about, let alone pander to, the sort of people who respond to my work with personal insults and slanders, but I'm also not deliberately trying to annoy them. Ultimately, I'm more interested in writing for the majority who've been buying the book and enjoying it."
...........cant imagine him sitting around in his silver rubber trousers and reading wolverinenrocks69's posts

Same here. If there was ever any writer that deserved his hype, it's Morrison.
I'm always torn - I do enjoy the interviews, but afterwards, I always wish I'd spared myself the hints of what's coming next. I'd rather be surprised and enjoy the story as it unfolds at its own pace, but I can't resist reading the things right away.
