View Full Version : Velocity delayed?

During Wizard World Chicago, the Velocity series was announced as launching in November. But it's not on Image/Top Cow's November solicits. Does anyone know if it's been delayed/canceled, etc?

Hi Everyone,

We hit a "speed bump" (ouch!) and rather than stick with the original solicitation schedule and end up with a late book, we opted to push Velocity back to a January launch. The delay in solicitation will ensure that the series will come out in a timely fashion and Joe Casey and ChrisCross have the time to make this series truly butt-kicking.

Ah, okay. Good to know it's still on track, even if it's been pushed back a little.

This isnt promsing at all !

I dont care about this comic but whats the point of pilotseason and voting daily for your favorite when the last years winners dont come out for like 2 years....

I do vote daily thats why i care about this. By the way your comic doesnt need my vote its leading over my favorite :wink:


If this comic doesnt come out in januari or doesnt survive and become an ongoing, you gotta wonder if there is hope for the winners of 2008 pilot season....

I guess it's better to be pushed back than be late between issues.

But I agree with Libaax, I would have thought that the Pilot Season winners would have had top priority in coming out.

Velocity was the only comic I was looking forward too, and the only thing from Top Cow I was keeping an eye out for.

I really hope that when this series finally comes out, it's an ongoing series. I like new and different stories each month rather than than one big year long event.
