I just got faster internet. I can now watch videos from places like youtube. But I like to have things on DVD. I happen to have recordable DVDs, these are DVD+R and DVD+RW is there a way to put a disk in a drive that says CD writer, and put internet video I watch on DVD?

You can't use a DVD-R in a CD-R drive. The good news is, DVD-R drives are dirt cheap.

Or, you could try converting your downloaded YouTube videos to mpeg format and burning them to a VCD, which should play on your DVD player.

Or course, they'll look like arse blown up to that size.

If he's asking these questions, something tells me you just went a few steps above his paygrade.
