is it me or does it seem that the relaunch series seem to be struggling, why is that. I thought they'd take off if you know what I mean.

As we WS fans have tried to promote it, what we keep running into is people still bitter about the failed reboot in 2006 so that is a big factor that's hurting the titles. The only way for them to recover is to sell decently for a while and gather interest because for now, people don't seem to be giving it a chance.

you know that is really sad because I'm enjoying the wildstorm universe, all I can do is hope that the WS catches peoples interests again and the titles start doing good again.

I'm back on board now that Stormwatch: PHD is back, even though it looks like the cast of that title's been scrapped and it's gone back to plain old Stormwatch in all but name. I'm not sure about the other titles, given that I was never a big fan of either Authority or WildCATs.

I managed to get the complete original wildcats series and I also managed to get the complete original authority series and I like both. Of course even though I like the wildcats and the authority I like the authority a little bit more

I hope the best for Wildstorm. And I think they are doing the best they can, after the Morrison fiasco.

The only Wildstorm titles I read are Ex Machina and Planetary, but I was interested in checking out the actual Wildstorm universe and I was interested in the Gage-Googe team on WildCATS, so I picked up the first issue, but I found it really, really hard to follow. That was something of a letdown. I thought it would be more new-reader friendly.

Yeah, even we long time fans saw that about the issue as well. The Authority and Stormwatch were more first time reader friendly. Gen 13 had a similar problem to Wildcats.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty brand spankin new to Wildstorm. But when I saw DnA was writing the Authority I decided to give it a chance. Plus, with Wildcats starting over I decided to give it a chance too. But I'm really loving this stuff right now. Not really having too much background on the Universe, I really have enjoyed just jumping right in.

I hope some more people give these a chance, because this World's End stuff is SO different from anything else that's going on in comics right now.

BTW, I recently did an article that gives an overview of WS's history. It doesn't go into heavy detail but it'll give you an idea of where the company's been if you're interested:
