I've been reading the V1 authority and so far I'm really liking what i'm reading/seeing so far. Right now there are 2 characters that i'm liking so far. I'm liking the Shaman also known as the doctor and apollo. I've been doing some looking up of the members and while looking up info on apollo something caught my mind. First I know that wikipedia isn't exactly reliable but according to what is written about apollo, apollo is a "Majestic Class Superhuman" that apollo is as powerful as mr majestic.

It is generally believed that Majestic is more powerful because he does not have a dependecy on the sun like Apollo does. This is a huge issue for Apollo as a character in the current Authority series, but I won't spoil it for you.

I would have to say no, while Apollo is exceptioanlly strong, I would say that Majestic has a greater power level...I think since Majestic was such a high profile and powerful SPB they just named the class after him and Maj has been around a lot longer then then Apollo

cool okay thanks. What about the Shaman also known as the Doctor how powerful is he. Around the 1st issue of the original comic series the shaman turns all of the bad guys into trees, so how much power would that require. What I don't get is why does he faint when he strains himself like turning enemies into trees or turning a whole bunch of fragments from ships from the albion invasion into flowers.

chris striker can probably answer this better than I could but the Doctor's powers have always been in debate as to why he does or doesn't do certain things with his powers.

I think it comes down to the writers views on his powers, I think when Ellis wrote him, the power he uses the bigger the toll on the body and possible his body being able to endure it, while Millar just upped the anti with his abilities with the "Earth Inferno" story line
