Strange Embrace really was a phenomenal read about a man's obsession and its horrific effect on his wife. A great tale of supernatural terror and familial intrigue. The backup strips were an awesome bonus as well.

David Hine has proven himself time and time again with this and books like Son of M and Silent War for Marvel.

If Hine came out with another independent book I'd be there in a second.

I suppose you can count Poison Candy as an Indy book. Part 2 is suppose to come out in October.

Something I'd really like to see is Hine writing a monthly horror series, like a town dealing with strange stuff that only Hine could write. :biggrin:
