I'm thinking the next crisis should have the second deaths of Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Arrow, Hal Jordan and Barry Allen. Also the second crippling of Batman and the third death of the Green Lantern Corps.

It should also have the ressurections of Bart Allen, the Martian Manhunter and Lord Bolt.

They should blow up Paradise Island, Wayne Manor and the Daily Planet building and rebuild Coast City.

And in a shocking surprise ending Thomas Wayne and Jor-El return from the dead to become the new Superman and Batman.

I'm all for the next crisis to wipe out the multiverse and rebooting all the characters. Particularly Hawkman and Aquaman. I think they should also bring in all the Hanna Barbara characters that Warner- Bros owns. Like Black Vulcan, Wendy, Marvin and Apache Chief. Maybe be even include Birdman.

I'd call it: Ultimate Crisis

A 12 issue maxi-series using elements from almost every DCU major crossover since the first Crisis.

Returning from the future, Superboy Prime makes a deal with Neron to get everything he ever wanted. First off, he gets Brainiac becomes his war advisor.
He also learns the Anti-Matter equation.

He first assembles all of Earth's Super criminals under his command. The Society launches a systematic assault that serve as mere diversionary tactic. It results in a massive war between all of Earth's heroes and villains.

While that war rages, another battle starts in outer space, where Superboy uses the Manhunters and the Sinestro Corps to take over half the galaxy.

It was easy to get the Okaraans, Dominators, Durlans, Psions and Durlans to join the armada.

Earth's allies like Daxam, Thanagar and Rann are targeted first.

Of course, this does not escape the attention of the Guardians. The Green Lantern Corps is dispatched, but Superboy led army also invades OA. Space faring heroes like Adam Strange and Captain Comet are taken captive. As are most of the Green Lanterns. Using a combination of Eclipso Gems and STARRO parasites, Superboy recruits them as well, but keeps them hidden on Takron Galtos for now.

Meanwhile, Kyle Rayner and Guy Gardner return to Earth for help.

Now first true ruler of the Universe, Superboy takes the name Monarch and his army descends upon Earth. Simultaneously, he unleashes an Suneater on the Sun.

The resulting lack of solar energy and light disables Superman and throws the earth into chaos. He uses the telepaths to turn the populace against the Heroes ala Legends.

With no united force, he attacks the planet with his ultimate weapon... Imperiex. He destroys Monte Verde and Coast City.

The heroes will need the Bloodlines and Planetary DC heroes, as well as allies from parallel universes and time periods to stave off the forces. The Legion and JLA One Million help as well.

Most obscure Titans and JLI members are killed because that's what they seem to do nowadays.

The heroes lose.

Superboy's Invasion armada have taken over the planet. They have turned the populace into OMACs, hunting down heroes along with Manhunters.

Guarded by Shadow Demons and Thunderers, Super Monarch takes over the White House with Neron and the heads of the Society as his inner council.

Using Eclipso Gems and STARROs, they take control of several heroes from all over the planet as well.

The Earth is lost. A small resistance of heroes from the JLA and JSA are left to fight back.

Just as all hope is lost... Batman comes up with a plan. A Flash dies to save the day. And it will be revealed that it was Jean Loring behind it all.

According to the panels at San Diego, they're incorporating the Milestone characters into the DCU. IIRC, the idea is that they've been around, just off-panel.

Given the standard 20-year nostalgia cycle, I can absolutely believe that this will happen in about 10 years.
