Interesting. So we see Gambit, and is that Emma Frost as well? What other cameos did people notice?

Looks awesome. I wonder what other mutants are going to show up in this...

This is probably the 10th time I've seen the trailer since it was originally leaked, but I still can't wait until the official trailer comes out - the damned Gambit fangirls made it impossible to hear what Sabretooth says at the end

Wow, Gambit looks SWEEEET! And it's hard to see everything, but was that Emma? OMFG I can't wait! It looked like the Blob was in the beginning there too.

Damn, someone beat me to it, but it's Emma. And I love your avatar, Dazzler, that book is one of my favorites (I'm re-reading it right now, too)

Big cheers from the audience for Gambit but not Emma? How rude.

I'm actually sad that, that is Emma. I'm even sadder after watching the Batman Movie because it was so good.
I wanted Emma to appear in a Marvel Studios funded movie not a Fox Studios one. :(

Gambit was expected to show up in the movie. No one recognized that it was Emma at first, even now lots of people still got her mixed up with Silver fox.

So first Wolverine steals Jean from Cyke, now he's grabbing Emma?

I wonder if they'll be able to pull off Gambit without making him cheesy. He already looks yummy.

Hmm...well as long as he does so with his shirt off I'll be fine. Eh, Chere?

Oh...yeah...that was bad.

Every time i see this i'm shocked by the reaction Gambit got. I thought people would be more pumped up to see Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool since that has been the talk for the last 4 or 5 years.

Bingo!

Deadpool didn`t have his mask on. That was simply Ryan playing with swords.

I wasn't too shocked. People have been clamoring for Gambit to be in a film since the first movie way back in 2000 and he's consistently ranked in Wizard's polls about who the fans want the most.

That plus of all the characters shown other than wolverine he jumps out as being exactly what Gambit looks like: pretty buy tossing exploding playing cards.

We don't see enough of Emma to go bonkers, Blob looks kinda odd, Deadpool doesn't have scars (yet?), Sabretooth doesn't exactly look like the guy in the comics.

So yea no surprise at the screaming audience, that scene jumps out as:"whoa, that's Gambit!".

You mean Jean killed Cyclops for Wolverine. That's true love.

I have to say that I think Liev Schreiber looks more like Brian Cox than he looks like Tyler Mane, while Danny Huston could really pass as a younger Tyler Mane, so in my mind, I'm gonna just keep thinking that they cast the right actors for wrong roles, but I guess I'll have to see the movie, which might just beat that out of my mind.

Besides, this is what the updated Weapon-X Sabretooth looked like, which I can see fitting Liev's version.

Gambit doesn't have his distinctive eyes, his power signature, and wasn't even wearing a coat for the first half of his appearance. It had nothing to do with him being more recognizable to comic fans; thats why there was a slight delay in the applause he got.

He's a great deal more popular with the general Con-going geeky public than on this forum.

Yes, this board has an odd taste in characters that definitely doesn't reflect upon comic fans at large. It's puzzling obsession with D-listers for example.

I was more interested in seeing what the Blob looked like, than I was impressed with seeing Gambit or the other characters make their appearances.

I just don't see what people are all that worked up about in this trailer. Logan goes to Supercuts, a flash of his trademark Ginsu knives, a couple of obscure characters here and there, some typical explosions (no doubt caused by him slicing something), Wolverine's custom dentist chair submerged in a jaccuzi, and appearances by actors that probably don't understand the true nature of the comic book characters they're playing...

I'm about as excited about this movie as Wolverine was when he had the adamantium laced to his bones...

Gambit is one of the most popular x-characters with the general public. The X-Men were 90's pop stars, and during that time, Gambit was at his peak.

It's because the people on this board are generally die-hard x-fans who have read enough material about the A-listers that we've become board with many of them. The D-listers are fresh and exciting.

This movie is going to have Marvel's best Mutant character Sabretooth as a co-star, so it will blow X-Men 1-3 away. Sabretooth will sell more movie tickets then Batman does.

From what I could make out in the clip, I couldn't tell what his eyes were. He had the staff though. And I couldn't really tell with his powers either, the quality of the video was not the great.

In sales maybe. I seriously doubt this movie will be a better film than X2.
X2 is legendary. Spider-man 1 gets old after the first viewing. Iron Man even drags the second and third time you watch it. A lot of the dialogue comes off as cheesy and overbearing in Dark Night when watching it the second time.

Spiderman 2 and X2 never seen to get old, no matter how many times I watch them.

Sabretooth is not in X-Men 2, so it can't be legendary.
