I used to read exiles i started with Judd winicks run. I didn't start with issue one i read like issue 3 at a library really liked bought the trade of the first 4 books then read it all the way up to ending. As much as like classic Claremont stuff. I really enjoyed his excabilur stuff exiles was not as good as that in my eyes. He did make it own book book everything i loved about the book kinda went away. He had blink leave the team she was leader she was kinda why alot of people even read exiles cause they loved blink then she leaves. I haven't read the book since issue 100 i did get that one shot which was bad. The writer wasn't super awful he just didn't really do his research very well cause when weapon x shows up they do mention the time broker was a he and yet the writer of the oneshot says that the time broker for them was female which to me is kinda mistake.

that ends my exiles related rant.

no but it had a more of a sliders feel to it.

B borke what didn't need fixing IMO

CC is trying to get the bugs out:wink:

The original Exiles didn't have Sabretooth, so it's a FAIL.

by original exiles i meant non new exiles and he sabretooth was in the book till it the relaunch.

I never really like sabretooth much.

Exiles was one of the first totally new concepts I encountered when I came into comics via X-men tpbs...I couldn't get enough of it and X-Force/X-Statix at the time...some really awesome characters and stories. I miss both terribly.

I would never trade in secrets and gossip. Let's just say that it would good business sense to ditch CC off the book, and leave it at that!

I disagree B killed it CC was given a lemon and is trying to make lemon aid

issue 14 looks promising

CC writing DotD again, JOY!!!!)

now if they give him an arc to write one of pervious Iron fists I will be happy forever.

A lemon? exiles never a lemon it was never a horrible book with bad sales it did well not great but did okay enough not to get canned.

now it was bad during Chuck austen's run but thats cause Mr. Austen is bad writer.

when they into duced the bugs

bumed world tour from a friend, they killed two of the best chaecters andtried to trick fans into nestalga buying with the fake new universe and 2099
and made a lame attempt to have a hulk vs hulk fight. I stayed away until CC came on.

now it was bad during Chuck austen's run but thats cause Mr. Austen is bad writer.

Austen was awesome on the book, with exception to the crossover. Hyperion was one of the best arcs out there.

I dont know about the one where he killed Magneto, which may have been in Bedard's run, but he wrote both in Winick's run IIRC

Exiles was one of my favortie books. I looked forward to it every month. Now its just a huge CC wankfest. Horrible.

I tried to read the bookk...I quit with issue 6..couldn't take it anymore...what's the point of having a team if you already have Psygod and Sagod in it??

I miss Blink, I miss Power Princess (who left for like...no reason) and I miss Spiderman

it's not a crappt book per se...but, it's no the exiles (I know..hence "New" exiles...but the old ones still had stories to tell :P)
