Not sure when it was originally announced but issue one is scheduled for release on Oct. 1st.

alan moore is allowing this? does he not own the property or does he just allow it because Ha wants to do it?

still haven't read Moore's two top ten spin offs the forty niners and the one about that one guy....but I LOVED top 10 itself.

49er's was GREAT! I really recommend reading it! The sequel 'Beyond the Furthest Precinct' was not as good at all.
Can't wait for Series Two though, hurray!

still haven't read Moore's two top ten spin offs the forty niners and the one about that one guy....but I LOVED top 10 itself.

Moore doesn't own the ABC titles, aside from LOEG. I'd normally be skeptical - heck, I still am - of continuing a Moore book without Moore, but having Cannon and Ha involved makes me more optimistic than I usually would be.

You should definitely check out Smax - it's one of the funniest things I've ever read. 49ers is pretty good, too.

Zander Cannon has actually been carrying around his layouts for the first few issues for awhile now. He was letting people sneak a peek at Fallcon about a year ago. Looked good. Looked fun.

I'm disappointed that it's only a 4 part mini....but at least it has the goodness of Gene Ha in it :smile:
Zander is a great writer. His Smax mini rocked, so I know the title's in good hands without Moore on it.
