In the course of writing Pipeline this week (appearing tomorrow afternoon), I remembered a funny factoid that I thought would be interesting to bring back up again. So I did.

Friggin' Rich Johnston in his column today mentions it, as well. I can't remember the last time anyone cared about this connection/factoid, but now I look like a copycat. Dagnabit! I handed in my column hours before his went live.

::sigh::

So after the column appears tomorrow, you can win a No Prize for being the first to spot the factoid that Rich and I both mention out of the blue in our columns this week.

What's in this week's column:

* Some thoughts on the Kirkman Manifesto
* "The Starman Omnibus" and How DC's Scheduling is a Problem
* Reader E-mail! "Previews" and spoilers
* What Comics I Bought Ten Years Ago This Week
* Show notes from last week's Pipeline Podcast
* Quick thoughts

Shouldn't that be the Kirkmanifesto? :biggrin:

I finally got around to listening to it this evening on the drive home and am interested to getting to the rest of the Siuntres interview tomorrow before making a comment on it.

The Word Balloon interview is must-listening for the proper discussion of this topic. I can't believe, though, that there are people who took Kirkman's "I'm Going To Save Comics" line seriously. . .
