DC COMICS
Birds Of Prey #121, $2.99 - still solid.
Brave And The Bold #16, $2.99 - also solid.
Final Crisis Legion Of Three Worlds #1 (of 5)(Character/Story Sliver covers), $3.99 - big LSH fan in the 80's so I will give this series a try.
Justice League Of America #24, $2.99 - I think I have just been buying this on momentum. 2nd Amazo arc which was basically Meltzer's exact story retold a year later kind of took the enjoyment away from me on this book. I expected more of McDuffie.

Incredible Hercules #120 (Secret Invasion Tie-In), $2.99

WARNING!!!! SPOILERS!!!!!

WARNING!!!! SPOILERS!!!!!

air #1 (Vertigo/DC) - by Wilson, Perker, Chuckry. I read the online advance copy of this and hated it. I bought this issue thinking it would be different as a physical piece and maybe if some parts were left out. Turns out while it does read a bit better in hand, the problem with this issue is still the same. It's mind-numbingly boring with nothing new or exciting to drive the story along. It fools the reader into thinking there might be some sort of action-based plot, but in reality this plays out more like a pseudo-romance story than anything. Like a very, very weak Romancing the Stone. I don't think G. Wilson helped the plight of her book at all at the end either, with the 'interview', which turned out to be nothing more than a self-indulgent diatribe about nothing.

Justice League of America #24 (DC) - by McDuffie, Goldman, Rollins, Ramos, Fridolfs, Leigh, Pantazis, Benes. The backup artist, Goldman filled in nicely for Benes in this fun, action packed issue!

Fear Agent #23 (Dark Horse Comics)- by Remender, Moore, Loughridge, Callahan, Spears. This issue was another great, fun read, though one has to think the man can survive anything. I mean, a shot through the chest, being dragged by a horse in the middle of the desert, eaten by vultures and he still lives?!? That part was a bit, much. The backup, Heath2O was a fun one! I think that's the Spears of Teenagers From Mars, but am not sure. Again, fun, but the premise is a bit silly. A race, dying from thirst, needs water and that's their solution? Come on! They'd be dead waiting for the return on that investment, plus the end, was...gah! Blood Beer, ewww.. The back page had a fun writeup on some new books coming up soon, by Shawna Gore. A very enjoyable and well written piece.

True Believers #1 & #2 (of 5) (Marvel) - by Bates, Gulacy, Beredo. Don't know who Bates is, but I think this is the Gulacy from DC's Catwoman. If so, I have to nah, ;P to all those who hated his work on that title. This exemplifies his strengths, but also some new weaknesses come up but not sure if they are his fault. The story was enjoyable, fits firmly into the current happenings in the Marvel U, but keeps this one 'slightly' to the side. The one distraction of these issues so far has been his art. It changes about 2 ways within the book, at random times. The looks are so different, I became very confused reading the book and trying to follow why the changes were happening, but nothing relates to the story, so it could only be that the artists are experimenting. This is a light mini series, as to be expected, but both story and art should be getting better by the end, or this series shouldn't expect anything beyond this mini.
