Hey, just recently getting back into comics and am interested in knowing which parts of Civil War I should read in which order?
Maybe it's in an old thread here or something, but I can't find it via search. A link would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I don't know if I 100% agree with that - but it seems like it's on the right track. I'd also tack on What If? Civil War to be read at the very end - just because it'll make you hate Stark just a little bit more.

I recommend starting with:
McPherson, James D., Battle Cry of Freedom: The Civil War Era, Oxford University Press, 1988.

Ha! There are probably more pages of comic book tie-ins to Marvel Civil War than are in McPherson's massive tome.

The Avengers' Iron Man seeming to be the one of the catalysts for the Civil War I guess this is a good a place to post as any other.
Having scoured the web for an answer to this question I leave it down to you.
I missed the Civil War and now want to buy the graphic novels in order of events. There is no clear way of seeing which should be read next, I believe there are around fifteen titles available...
I have stared with 'The Road to Civil War' and will buy 'Civil War' next- if someone could clearly list the proper order in which to read I would be grateful!

That's a hard task, since they all weave in and out of each other.
If you're dead set on reading it in order, then I'd check these out when you do: http://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=10944511.
That's the Civil War Chronicles series. Marvel released them after CW was finished. It was a set of twelve comics that put all the main issues of CW together in chronological order. I figure you can click the descriptions on that website and go from there when you read the GNs.
