Hello everyone,

Sorry I didn't know where to put my question
I'm going to New-York soon and I was wondering if we could visit any Marvel Comics offices, building, etc.

I have the same question for DC but I think it's useless to create another thread :)

Thanks for the answers :)
(sorry for my bad english, i'm actually french)

I could be mistaken, but I believe Marvel no longer offers tours of their offices.

I could be mistaken, but I believe Marvel no longer offers tours of their offices.

A friend of mine did a tour in 2001/02-ish. I believe he had to book it in advance.

If what ED said is true this may not be valid anymore.

Call them.

interesting.. if they do tours, i'm sure it must be groups of people.. and they probably charge a lot of money now.. but i suppose a tourist's money is better spent here than on a game of 3 card monte..

I have been thinking of doing that next year myself and did some looking around. The best thing I could find with this thread

"I don't believe they give these tours anymore though.

What could please a kid more than a great comic book? How about seeing how they are made?

Marvel Comics gives tours of their studios to twenty people at a time -- a fascinating experience for children and adults alike. To top it off, the tours are FREE.

There's only one catch: the tours are conducted once per week. Being a hot item, such a tour must be booked very far in advance -- as much as six months to a year. For those that can plan that far ahead it's a great deal. There is a stand-by list, however, and groups do cancel. A group on the stand-by list should be prepared to take the tour on very short notice.

On a tour day individuals can also walk in and participate in a tour, if there is room in a scheduled group tour. The tour can accommodate up to 20 people only, no exceptions.

Hours: Tours on Fridays at 11am.
Admission: FREE.
Reservations: 6 months to 1 year in advance. If interested, get on the stand-by list.
Lunch: Nearby restaurants.
Handicapped: Not accessible.
Directions: Located on Park Avenue South at 21st Street.
Time: 45 minutes south from the George Washington Bridge
"

Here's hoping it still exists.

I went last month and they don't do tours. The only way you can get in is if you know someone that works there.
