Hmm.... The Goon has zombies but is more parody and comedic, but is still very good. Zombies MAX was decent. I hated Crawl Space, but others liked it. Living With The Dead was okay. I can't think of any others right now.

Living With The Dead from Dark Horse was pretty fun.
It's not technically zombie but the new Garth Ennis comic Crossed might be of interest to you as well.

The Zombies That Ate The World is the second best zombie comic after The walking dead. It is currently being published by a french company but will be published by Devil's Due sometime this year.

ZMD : Zombies of Mass Destruction has 1 or 2 issues under it's belt thus far...it's an interesting premise.
Containment : a zombie story set in space.
Black Gas : zombie epic as told by warren ellis.
George Romero's : Toe Tags
The Lurkers : Steve Niles take on zombies heavy with a sense of noir, beautiful art by Hector Casanova.
Zombies vs. Robots vs. Amazons #1 (the highly anticipated #2 comes out in jan) Ashley Wood does the art, written by Chris Ryall.
Find back issues of the 80's comic series Dead World.
It was awsome.

Totally. "Dead World" was great. I actually found my old issues of it a couple of months ago in the attic. I hadn't seen them since they came out in '89 & '90.
Marc Guggenheim's "Resurrection" has zombie-like protagonists in it. Pretty cool book so far IMO. I think it's on issue #5 now.
Avatar Comics had a crap-load of zombie comics. I believe a couple of the titles had George A. Romero's name attached to them also. They were alright but got a little tiresome after a while as each arc seemed the same. A bunch of hippies and/or bikers(most of the stories are told in the late '60's-early '70's) are attacked by zombies and must fend for themselves until being eaten and thus becoming zombies themselves.
IDW's "War Of The Undead" has zombie elements in it as does WildStorms, "The Programme."
Also if you can find it, a comic adaptation of the original 1978 "Dawn Of The Dead" was done too. I forget who did the artwork though. I got a mini-comic version in The Anchor Bay box-set, multi-disc version of "Dawn Of The Dead." Great stuff IMHO.

I enjoyed this title. Wasn't ground breaking or anything, but worth the money.

I love Romero but I thought this was dreadful. You can tell where they wanted to go with it, but for whatever reason, it fell flat and felt unfinished.

Ditto, it was THE worst series I've read in quite a while. It wasn't worth the paper it was printed on.
I was hoping that maybe Romero had a ghost writer write it for him, but after watching the dreck that was Land of the Dead and Diary OTD, my hope for anything decent zombie-related to come from him was dashed... :frown:

Remains was pretty good too.
"When the world goes mad, a blackjack dealer and an exotic dancer are mysteriously spared. But now they're trapped in Reno, surrounded by a veritable army of the undead - and with no idea what might wait for them beyond the city limits if they can escape."
Looks interesting. I'll add it to my "to buy" list.
I found this pretty good Zombie book list on Amazon that someone put together:
