Seriously, though, I think it's a pretty sweet cover. I like Dodson's stuff, and he does a great Magma IMO.
It's actually already being discussed in the SI:X-Men #1 thread. We have determined that this Wolverine is a Skrull since Carey said he wouldn't appear.

I don't think Magma's a hard character to draw. Draw a naked chick minus the icky parts and then have the colorist maker her look fiery. TA-DA!

Yeah, but that won't produce shiny highlights.
Something that actually looked like lava could look pretty neat, though it would be a PITA for the colorist.

I think the white areas look too inconsistently placed on the body to be highlights.....thus my reasoning for white heat. Highlights typically don't come from more than one light source.

Magma has been colored liked that on the odd occasion. But no one seems to want to stick to a coloring template for her unfortunately. :frown:
It's not to hard to do for a computer colorist either.

Magma look should go back to the Sienkiewicz design. Her hair looks awful on there.
It's great seeing Magma finally return to the fold. My fave cover so far though is still the Dazz one. :D

Yeah it's getting kind of annoying not being able to tell the difference between her, Frankie Raye, Ultimate Firestar, Ultimate Phoenix or the Human Torch with boobs.
Magma needs something that sets her apart from the pack
