I don't know about The Witness but I'd say Bishop is a pretty sure bet considering Layla's already made contact with him.

It's jumped back and forth, but current answer is no. He's just exactly like gambit in every way, but he's not Gambit. Somehow.

Regarding the preview, it's good to see Layla back, and with an artist that can actually draw the X-Factor characters. I'm gonna cave and pay the extra dollar for this issue, but I do so with the expectation of awesomeness.

if you remember, there was a future scene where Jamie and Layla were married and on their honeymoon, Rahne killed both of them...

I kinda doubt it'll happen this soon, but this is a good set-up for that if they want to go that direction.

Well, judging by whats going on, I assume the mutants escape in the disaster of the falling space debris as Layla lured all the humans and the sentinel to their doom by the falling space debris.

Whoa, I am shocked. Kinda followed X-Factor (and loved it), but assumed Layla was the one thing all the fans would be annoyed and furious about, kinda like Dawn in Buffy. I, personally, thought she was hilarious and fantastic (though I'll admit I'm in the minority that doesn't completely hate Dawn). Really like that she takes center stage here. Yet another reason for me to start buying...

i only started reading Xfactor 1 arc before messiah complex but i instanlty loved Layla. thought messiah would show her off really well and... well she gets left in the future,lol

Xfactor has lost something since messiah and i think its a layla shaped hole that needs to be filled in that book.

It's really hard for me to consider the HoM Layla Miller as the same character in X-Factor. I just imagine that the lack of stuff that she actually knew in HoM mader her act that way, and only in the brilliant white flash was Layla born into the character we know and love
