Morph is not Morph or at least not totally. He's really Proteus brainwashed to think he's Morph. I see no sign that they are going to address this issue (only Sabretooth knows about it to the best of my knowledge). But they should and finish it off, one way or the other -- either have Morph regain control of his body or have Proteus resume control and destroy everyone.

I remember they did this on the Gargoyles cartoon. Goliath was brainwashed and there was no cure, so they just told him to act like Goliath would and not to listen to anymore hypnotic suggestions. Kind of mean since that meant the real Goliath was basically still imprisoned within his own mind, while everyone else still had Goliath around, acting like Goliath, with Goliath's memories, but not actually Goliath... Sort of...
I wouldn't expect Claremont to address this Morph issue. Shake your head and cut your losses like I have with Psylocke, and like I did with Bishop and Rogue until Xtreme was over.

It's been addressed several times now.

Addressed maybe (and not recently, that's for sure). But resolved? Nope.

Other than being mentioned several times, it hasn't been addressed in an adequate manner. It's a plot point they really should get on to resolving. Hopefully when they do, it isn't dragged on as long as the World Tour story did.

I don't think it's even been mentioned since the book became the New Exiles. Is Sabretooth continuing with the brainwashing? Not that we've seen, though, of course, we don't necessarily see everything that goes on.

LOLOLOL NEVER THAT LONG EVER.
And Christopher Claremont did adress it I think once
When they had a videotape or something of what would happen if Proteus ever became aware.
However, In it, Proteus could affect longshot, which was very wrong.
As him not being affected by Proteus was his only reason for being included. . . .
and I think in it, Proteus wanted to destroy all the world or something. . . .
It was. . .not good.
