Doctor Doom
Margali Szardos
Baron Mordo
Selene
Kulan Gath
Stephen Strange
Illyana Rasputin
Amanda Sefton

Just wondering who's the most powerful of these. I've heard Doom's next in line to be Sorcerer Supreme, but surely Mordo has his number? And is Selene a soceress or is it just her association with Kulan Gath that's made me think that?

Classic Strange would be on top. Current Strange...not.

Baron Mordo pretty much outperforms Doom in straight-up sorcery. The whole 'Doom is next in line to be Sorcerer Supreme' is incorrect, and doesn't follow what actually occurred in the 'contest'. Neither does it consider the fact that the only 'name level' sorcerers of note who 'competed' were Doom and Strange.

Probably a whack of them. I'm not 100% familiar with many of them, but Current Strange is pretty wimpy.

Jesus, yeah, you're probably right. Now I think about it, he went from keeping out Shuma Gorath to being punked by the Hulk.

Getting stabbed in the back by Hand Ninja #43 didn't help, either. :)

No more Roma.

Merlyn is back to being a good guy though, so he'd rank very high on this. Granted he tends to be a multi-versal being, so that might exclude him.

Ian Mcnee is also a strong contender.
